Interview Questions for the Podcast
With the Podcast due to be recorded soon, I thought this would be an ample opportunity to write some potential questions to ask. As I have said in previous posts, I plan on playing a comedic character whilst conducting a podcast with the theme being stamp collecting and postal history. Some questions I could include may be as follows:
* Hi my name's Graham, for those viewing, what's your name?
* So you're a postal history enthusiast correct?
* What fascinates you about postal history in particular?
* Are there any era's that are favourites of yours regarding postal history?
Obviously these are just brief outlines of possible questions I could possibly ask; I may opt to entirely ditch the comedic character aspect of the podcast and merely conduct a serious or just less comedic podcast about postal history and stamp collecting instead. I will likely think of questions on the spot, more to the flow of how the interview progresses, however it is nonetheless good to plan out possible questions so I do not run out of ideas whilst conducting the interview. I will also plan to remember to add "structure" to the podcast by not simply having the interviewee continually talk to the degree I cannot edit the podcast at all; I will need to remind the interviewee that I will need at some points at least to have a somewhat "stop and start" structure for the podcast and break each "segment" down to individual questions to enable easier editing.
