McDonald's Good Times 2016 Advert
Here's McDonald's 2016 "Good Times" advert. It uses pathos, but on Maslow's hierarchy of needs, it mostly uses Self-Actualization. This is because the advert tries to imply that by going to McDonald's you will have reached self-actualization, you will have reached the pinnacle of what you can achieve. It shows people having a good time and at the end, two people meeting and falling in love at first sight (like those old soppy films), as such it shows people reaching their full potential of happiness. It also appeals to esteem, showing people with friends and family having a good time.
