The Music Video Project So Far...

I thought it would be apt for me to write an entry to show what progress has been made on the music video thus far.

Work began early on for this project in November, in which the team were required to get onto finding a band. As such, I managed to find a singer who would be interested in being involved with the project. I contacted the singer and she confirmed interest, however the remainder of my team at the time stated they were unsure if they wanted to use her, and as such I felt it was neither appropriate for me to contact the singer about further plans for the project, nor contact the singer to say the rest of the team voted to use a different singer instead.

By the time we returned to college for the new year, the rest of my team reviewed the singer I had found for the band and agreed she was right for the project. We agreed on a song to use for the music video and I contacted the singer, requesting the lyrics of the song so we could figure out what to do for the music video. However the singer, understandably was most likely peeved by the lack of updates, information and contact for the past month and a half. As such, I did not get a response from her. However A fellow teammate again messaged her and apologized for the delay, and the singer replied and has agreed to continue pursuing the project. As it stands now, we are due to confirm a mutual meeting time, where my team and the singer can meet to discuss plans for the music video.
